Surgicel Original Absorbable Hemostat is a loose knit structured material that wraps well and allows better visualization of the surgical site.

• Loose knit of ORC (oxidized regenerated cellulose)
• Assists in the control of hemorrhage when ligation or other conventional methods of control are impractical or ineffective
• Bactericidal against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative organisms
• Fully absorbable within 7-14 days
• Flexible, sheer weave conforms to irregular surfaces
• Advisable to be removed once hemostasis is achieved
